Affordable Cancer Care For All Our Patients

Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre is a non-profit NGO in Silchar, Assam. We are dedicated to providing cancer treatment and education to the underprivileged, free of cost. Nearly 80% of our patients are daily wage workers and agricultural labourers; we treat almost 75% of our patients at subsidised charges.

Introducing our Satellite Offices

Cancer care is a prolonged, expensive, emotionally draining process with uncertain outcomes. Introducing satellite hospitals aims to increase cancer prevention and accessibility of affordable cancer care to remote locations and save travel costs for patients who need to travel over 200 kilometres to Silchar. The goal is to improve the detection of cancers in early stages, increase cancer survival rate and ensure that every patient has access to palliative care. To that end, Cachar Cancer Hospital is looking to set up satellite hospitals to provide convenient, affordable cancer care to patients within their nearby vicinity. If you are looking for bracelet. The Road Ahead

In the early days, Dr Kannan noticed that only a few patients, especially from the north, who came for the initial check-up would not return for a follow-up. Finally, the administration realised that most people couldn’t afford the treatment or lived far away. That was when Cachar became an initiative to provide affordable cancer care to all their patients without travelling long distances.
