Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the safe and effective use of drugs for patient care. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of pharmaceuticals, patient counseling, and hospital pharmacy practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and label prescribed medicines accurately.
• Check prescriptions for errors and ensure they are appropriate for the patient.
• Provide information and guidance on the correct use of medicines.
• Maintain records of controlled substances and drug inventories.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage expiry control.
• Support doctors and nurses in providing information on drug interactions and side effects.
• Follow hospital policies, pharmacy laws, and ethical standards.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
